Being offered is a very nice wood and wire bird cage, Circa 1900-1910.
The bird cage is in the shape of a house with a hip roof. The birdcage is all original with no broken wire. The original paint is in good condition with only some minor loss on the edges. A very nice early bird cage which can be used as intended or for floral arrangements.
The bird cage measures 10" wide x 6 1/2" at the base. The bird gage is 15" tall at the center of the hip roof and 13" at the front and back. The hip roof including overhang measures 12" wide x 9" deep. The bird slot measures 1 1/4" wide x 3 1/2" tall, typical small size indicative of a early bird cage.
A great item for display or use in a garden or formal greenhouse.
