This is Volume III only of the 1952 Heritage Press Edition of Sherlock Holmes The Later Adventures. It includes
The Hound Of The Baskervilles, The Adventure Of The Dancing Men, as well as many other Holmes favorites.The decorative boards are are in very good condition.There is a wonderful cameo in black of Holmes profile on the front board. The bullet pattern VR is on both the front and back
boards. This was a Holmes signature symbol- the initials of Victoria Regina that he would create in bullet holes. The book is square and the
binding is tight. The stories are illustrated with a wonderful collection of drawings from various artists. The pages are clean with No marking,
highlighting or notes. The spine is in very good condition with the gold lettering clear. This volume is contained in its own black slip case with
no jacket as published. The slip case is also in very good condition. It has edge and shelf wear. It is very sturdy and will protect this Volume
for many years to come. Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are classics and Volume III would make a handsome addition
to any library. It is not Ex Library.
