"Bird in Hand" Compact

This is the most coveted Compact for the Collector.

Note: Salvador Dali was referred to as a
Spanish Surrealist Artist

This bird is in the gold finish.

The gold finish is much rarer.

The compact opens up and reveals a powder well
and it even has a pill box at the tail end.

The bird head is the lipstick holder

CONDITION: EXCELLENT

No gold loss to the compact.
note *except the bottom of the powder well has some spots or loss
of the finish. This is located under the powder puff

Nice shiny gold....This compact is excellent.

Excellent Mirror

All hinges and clasps work perfect

Measures approx. 4.5 inches long
and has some nice weight to it ...5 ozs...

Things to point out:

1. The Lipstick Head has a wiggle to it.
The lipstick will not go up and down
unless the head is tightened up.
The lipstick goes in and out of the compartment
just fine. The lipstick looks unused.

2. The powder puff...has some spots on the puff side.
The top looks a little darker like patina or ?

3. The powder well under the puff has some gold
loss in spots ... could be age related.

Very cool design......fits nice in your hand.

The bottom of the compact is round with a flat
area to sit. So it does not roll over.

Will this compact make it into your collection?

Overseas must be shipped priority because I must
have it tracked. Any money not used will be returned.
this was a guess, because the priority starts at 58.00
and then the coverage makes even more expensive.
It may be less depending where you live....refund after
label printed of unused shipping money.
