Sensational to say the least!

This is a very rare novelty compact in the shape of a guitar.

What's even rarer is it still has it org. BOX !!

This compact is listed in only one book that I can find....Vintage Compacts & Beauty Accessories. The Author listed it as RARE, and
states that the compact pictured was from her private collection.

This compact is in fantastic condition....plus it is a quality piece!

It is made in Spain

The compact opens on a hinge so that both the front and back can be seen.

The inside reveals a beveled mirror, a powder sifter and a swan downs powder puff

all are custom made to fit this hour glass shape of the guitar. Remarkable!

Plus....The strings made of brass !!! and the brown leather to look like the the fine woods of a guitar.

The compact is in excellent condition....9.5 out of a 10.
