Substantial 18k gold ring with a coiled, grooved band that terminates on both ends with a snake or serpent. Four natural sapphires are bezel-set into the gleaming gold. A textured diamond pattern represents the scaly skin. The snakes have slightly open mouths and are rendered beautifully. The ring depicts the male and female, ying and yang, the anima and animus or the French term "Toi et Moi" - you and me. The symbolic connotations in the snake is endless.
