Antique Edwardian Old Mine Cut Diamond Natural Ruby Platinum 14K Gold Dinner Ring

Spectacular and opulent Edwardian era ring in Platinum and 14K gold. The ring features a natural oval ruby measuring 6 1/2 mm x 4 1/2 mm. It has rich saturation of color and medium transparency. The ruby is surrounded by lacy platinum with an array of Old Mine-Cut diamonds. The mount is in the form of a stylized flower head that is intricately pierced and hand-chased. The diamonds have intense sparkle. Great finger coverage with the face measuring over 3/4 inch in both directions.
