Antique carved mystical moonstone ring. The ring features a celestial "Man in the Moon" carved natural moonstone. A serene and happy fellow, he is sure to delight. The carving is exquisite. It has finely carved definition and detailed facial contours. It is rendered with finesse, unlike the modern, mass produced crudely made ones. It is set in a Victorian designed crown setting with eight claw prongs. The moon possesses a warm glow when light illuminated it. It is hallmarked 14K and a maker's mark of "S." We estimate the age of this ring to be Late Victorian, Art Deco in age. In a size 6.
