An antique tin from the silent movie era with a lithograph portrait of that iconic heartthrob, Rudolph Valentino, as the Sheik of Araby. The remainder of the outside of the box, except for the bottom, is black. The inside and the bottom are a gold color,
The base is stamped with the word Beautébox in a rectangle with the word “Canco” in a circle below. Valentino’s faux signature is under his picture on the lid. The name Henry Clive with an arrow is on the edge of the lid.

CONDITION
The sides and edges have many scratches. The painting of Valentino on the top has wear along the edges, but is otherwise is largely intact. There is light wear to the gold color on the interior and on the base. There are also some dimple dents to the base, and the edge of the rim has a dent. The lid fits snugly.
