Rectangular tea caddy that is stylish in its simplicity. The single adornment is the flower finial on the lid with just a dash of colorful carnelian stone.
A small rectangular mixed metal alloy container with a square inner lid that fits the neck and a square outer lid with a figural metal representation of a flower on the top. The flower part being a colorful reddish carnelian. The base is flat and rests nicely on a surface.
There is the word CHINA etched on the flat base. There is also the word CHINA etched on the underside of the inner lid.
5 1/4” (13.3 cm) tall x 2 ¾” (7.0 cm) x 2 ¾” (7.0 cm). Weighs 1 lb 0.2 oz (460 g)
The surface shows wear with small scratches and oxidization spots. The metal is very malleable, and the body has some dents and unevenness. There are no cracks or breaks. The piece has a nice look overall.
