A Chinese silver vase with deep repousse panels of a lotus with a turtle on a leaf pad on one side and a dragon in the clouds on the other side dragon and lotus. The prominent handles on either side of the vase resemble bamboo. There is a scrolling acanthus leaf design around the neck, a repousse dragon under one handle, and a repousse phoenix under the other handle.

The vase rests on a raised foot. The silver has polished up nicely.

There are no marks or labels. It may have been made for the domestic market.

3” (7.6 cm) tall x 3” (7.6 cm) wide x 1 7/8” (4.8 cm) diameter. Weighs 2.1 oz (60 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, dents, or breaks. It has a nice shine.
