A heavy square silver plate bowl with a very deco design of an antelope running with palms and other tropical foliage in the background. The foliate rim has ribs going to a central framed well.

The dish rests on a shallow foot. The mark in the center of the base reads INTERNATIONAL SILVER COMPANY 8149 with a plume design and the initials IS.

MEASUREMENTS

5 ½” (14 cm) long x 5 ½” (14 cm) wide x 1 5/8” (4.1 cm) tall. Weighs 8.2 oz (230 g)

CONDITION

The well of the dish has spots with silver loss. There are wear scratches on the foot and rim.

A dramatic design on this shiny, silvery bowl that will brighten that dark corner in the décor.
