Lovely neoclassic design teapot, coffee pot, compote, and creamer that shine with silver.

The set consists of a teapot, coffee pot, compote, and creamer. The coffee and tea pots have butterfly finials on the lids. The handles on both have bands of bone to keep the hands from burning. The lids on both are hinged. The compote has a pedestal base while the other pieces have slightly raised foot rings. The designs all match with a large key fret band in the mid body with acanthus leaf pattern above the foot. The lids on the tea pot and coffee pot have a shield border. The handles all have scroll flourishes.
They are made from a base metal set plated with silver. The pieces still have much silver and have polished up nicely.

There are no manufacturer marks or labels

**PLEASE NOTE: We also have a silver plate spooner/slop for sale on Ruby Lane that has a very similar design and would coordinate with the set. It has a similar key fret band but is lacking the leaf pattern above the foot. It also has a repousse band near the neck.**

CONDITION

The teapot has two tiny dents on the belly of one side. These are difficult to see but you can feel them when you run your hand over them. (Please see encircled areas in one of the photos). There is one a bit larger dent on the coffee pot (see encircled area). They are no cracks, dents, or breaks on the bodies of the compote or creamer, although the little bone insulator on the coffee pot does have a crack. There are silver losses on all pieces, but they have all polished up nicely and shine with silver. The lid and handle on the teapot, in particular, are lacking silver. The butterfly finial on the coffee pot is loose as is the handle on the coffee pot.

A nice neoclassical tea set that will give added luster to your décor. The set has a very rich and distinguished look.
