A molded hand painted humidor with a humorous cat and mouse theme. Cats will be cats.

A thinly molded ceramic that has been hand painted in a design of a cat holding mice in his mouth. The cat’s head lid has a cavity where the wet sponge for the humidor would be placed. The tobacco would be placed in the body of the cat. The glazes are thin and shiny with a smooth feeling.

The numbers “1347” and what looks like “18” are hand written on the glazed base. The shallow foot is unglazed.

MEASUREMENTS

6 ¼” (15.9 cm) tall x 4 ¼” (10.8 cm) deep x 4” (10.2 cm) wide. Weighs 14.1 oz (400 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. The glazes on the tongue and mice are either very light or are worn, but on the rest of the body the glazes are shiny, bright, and intact.

A fun and colorful cat humidor that will add to a collection or decorate the home with a piece of whimsy.
