The teacups have been decorated with detailed designs of a dragon surrounded by bodhisattvas painted in red, blue, browns, white, and green over glaze enamels. The painting is extensive and very fine. Gold has been used to accent and line.
There are characters in a red rectangle on the base of each.
3 ¾” (9.5 cm) diameter x 4 ¾” (12.1 cm) wide x 2” (5.1 cm) tall. Total weight 10. 8 oz (305 g)
There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. There are kiln flaws like bumps, pin holes and black spots. One mouth rim has a bump and a red spot that are kiln flaws. The glazes are still fresh bright and extensive.
