An intricate and deep cobalt blue and white porcelain export plate from the end of the Kangxi period. The plate is thinly potted dish is decorated with floral, Lake Tai stone, and fence designs that has been painted in a deep blue cobalt underglaze. The cavetto has a repeating floral border with the intricate garden design in the well. There are cursory floral decorations on the back in cobalt blue. The shallow foot ring is unglazed and the base is glazed. The glaze is a nice thick soft feeling glaze.
There are no marks or labels.

The plate has had repairs and tiny chips of porcelain are still missing. From the front the repairs are not very noticeable. From the back you can see small deposits of the adhesive that was used to make repairs in some of the cracks and along the inside edge of the foot ring. There is also wear to the central well.
