A glittering green and gold necklace with shimmering opals on the clasp.

The necklace has a deep spinach green jade bead alternating with gilt beads. There are 39 well-matched jade beads and 40 gilt beads. The jade beds have black and white inclusions and have substantial weight to them. They are strung on a grayish white cord. The clasp has a leaf design with three opals. It also has a wedge insert with a clip to keep the clasp securely closed.

The necklace and clasp are unmarked.

CONDITION

There are no breaks, chips, or cracks in the beads. The gilt beads and clasp show scratches under magnification, but their gold still shines.
