A hand crafted Chinese silver hair ornament with nice blue, robin’s egg and lilac enameling from the 19th century.
A hand worked, stamped piece of Chinese silver has been molded into a hairpin and then decorated with a beautiful almost peacock blue, robin’s egg blue and lilac enamel enamels. The stamped design is of flowers and leaves. The end of the pin is a point. The ornament has shined up nicely. It has a nice weight.
There is a Chinese maker mark on the back. I was unable to identify the maker.
