A hand blown barber bottle with floral design enamels on an amber glass. The glass has pulled and twisted lines in the neck.

The thin glass bottle has been hand blown and has a polished pontil mark on the base. There are stretch lines on the neck, the thickness of the rim of the mouth is uneven , and the mouth not perfectly round. The glass has bubble imperfections. The bottle has been decorated with flowers and swags painted with colored enamels. A ceramic stopper with cork fits the mouth snugly.

MEASUREMENTS

9.25” (23.5 cm) tall x 3.5” (8.9 cm) diameter. Weighs 7.6 oz (215 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. The enamels are in excellent condition. The white ceramic stopper is missing part of the cork. There are light scratches on the bottle and the foot is smooth with wear from use.

A great glass bottle to be put in a window for a stained glass effect or to add to a barber bottle collection.
