The large molded cranberry glass jar fitted with a silver plate collar, and conical lid with urn finial. The jar is a deep cranberry color and has a polished pontil mark on the base.

MEASUREMENTS

6 ½” (16.5 cm) diameter x 6 ½” (16.5 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 7.9 oz (680 g)

CONDITION

The lid and collar has silver losses, including two round spots on the collar that could have been where a handle was attached. They are still rough. There are no cracks, chips or breaks on the glass jar. There are wear scratches on the base from use, as well as a few wear marks on the jar. There are bubbles in the glass.

A large decorative biscuit jar with a nice cranberry color to ad to a collection or to let the light shine through. You can certainly still use it for cookies.
