A bottle like a faceted jewel radiates its rosy glow as an art bottle.
A heavy glass bottle with cut flat sides that is made from a nice cranberry colored glass. The base is flat and rests level on a table. The glass bottle has a silver plated collar attached at the mouth. There is a lid that fits over the collar. It is perforated and has a bead finial. The silver on the lid is heavily worn.
5 ½” (14.0 cm) tall x 2 ¼” (5.7 cm) diameter. Weighs 5.6 oz (160 g)
There are no chips, cracks, or breaks in the glass. There are wear scratches on the base from use. The lid has most of its silver polished off and there are a couple of small dents on the lid.
The light coming through the glass is like a prism. It would make a nice addition to a collection of cranberry glass.
