Well cast, detailed, molded Statue of Liberty souvenir lamp with copper highlights.
Definitely a fun and unusual souvenir from New York!
Cast pot metal Statue of Liberty that has mold lines. The lamp has copper highlights and a darker patina everywhere else. The casting is good showing stone blocks, clothing folds, doors and columns. The lamp is heavy and won’t tip. A light bulb (fits a candelabra base) was held in the torch of the Statue of Liberty. The cord is old with a very old socket plug. It should definitely be rewired before using it. The base is hollow for holding the wiring.
(Please note that we are willing to require the lamp for you for an additional $35 charge.)
There is a molded STATUE OF LIBERTY NEW YORK on the front base.
12 ¾” (32.4 cm) tall x 3 3/8” (8.6 cm) wide x 3 3/8” (8.6 cm) deep. Weight 2 lb 13.2 oz (1.28 k)
There are no cracks, breaks, or dents. The wiring will have to be replaced if you want to use the lamp. The original copper patina has been worn off in many areas but there are still many highlights.
A great Statue of Liberty souvenir to add to your collection. It will give an interesting sense of age and the unusual to any home décor.
