A heavy, dark brown, and well-cast bronze vase from the Kangxi period that has an elegant simplicity of form.
A heavy refined bottle form bronze shows its age with a dark brown patina. It has a tripod foot base that finishes the bottle form. It has an everted mouth rim with a dark interior.
7” (17.8 cm) tall x 2 ¾” (7.0 cm) diameter. Weighs 1 lb 8.6 oz (695 g)
The vase is missing it's bottom. You don't see this unless you turn the vase over.
There is some green calcification in the inner vase throat. There are no other breaks, chips, dents or cracks.
An old bronze with a great aged patina and a very elegant form.
