An elaborate paktong lamp with cloisonné panels decorating the base and a pierced border edge.
The lamp has a heavy paktong metal base decorated with cloisonné panels and a pierced shade holder. Each cloisonné panel has a different design of a food vessel or flowers. Each design is very colorful on a black ground. The lamp has a removable inner oil reservoir and wick assembly. The thick glass shade is held in place by a metal ring which screws into the wick and reservoir.
The lamp has no marks or labels.
4” (10.2 cm) tall x 2 ¾” (7.0 cm) long x 2 ¾” (7.0 cm) wide. Weighs 10.3 oz (290 g)
The glass shade is cracked and was re-glued. The cloisonné panels show wear and some pitting and chipping of the enamels. The bottom of the base has numerous small dents.
