The very heavy and massive censer has a compressed globular body that taper inward to an everted rim with raised handles. The censer rests on three conical feet that are supported by a separately cast floriform stand with a pierced center.
The bronze has the color of golden gilded bronze, except as noted under condition below.
There is no mark or label. The reign mark was cut out at the center of the censer well.

14 3/4” (37.5 cm) diameter x 11 ¼” (28.6 cm) tall. Weighs 51 lb 15 oz (23.6 kg)
There are no cracks, splits, dents or breaks. The central reign mark square was cut out. The interior of the censer shows blackened burned marks from use. There are age spots in the form of green spots and dark brown spots.
A massive incense burner that was probably in a temple. A great censer for a collection or as a focal point in a room.
