A cold painted antique pincushion with the shape and coloration of a mallard duck that is colorful, highly detailed, and, well, so darn cute.

A heavy gray metal base has been cold painted with realistic Mallard duck colors. There is a tight green fabric cushion on the back of the duck for holding pins. The molding of the duck is very realistic down to the curl of the duck tail. The coloring is quite good with even gradations from one color to another. The duck was molded as you can see slight mold lines.

MEASUREMENTS

2 4/” long x 1 ¼” wide x 2” tall. Weighs 2.1 oz (59.5 g)

CONDITION

The duck has no breaks, cracks, or dents. There is color loss on the beak, wings and feet. The duck still has a nice entire look for the age.

A small pet for you sewing table or yet another treasure for your metal menagerie.
