Sculpture by American artist James R Caudle (1920-2010) depicting a stylized woman's face created with a process known as lead repoussé, a process of working directly in a soft metal - as opposed to casting from some other material. As a result, each piece is unique.
The sculpture itself is 8.5" high and mounted on a painted 7" wood base, giving the piece a total heath of 15.5" Good condition and signed "Caudle."
Great 20th century studio piece.
