This lovely 17” Madame Alexander bride doll is made out of hard plastic and fine vinyl, has blonde hair and working blue sleep eyes. She was made between 1981 and 1985 and comes in her original Madame Alexander box. It does not appear she has been handled very much as she is in excellent condition.
She wears a beautiful tagged white dress with a full tulle skirt, lovely lace trimmed bodice and long sleeves. The dress features a pearled like high collar and sash. Her full length veil is attached to a pretty floral headpiece and she carries a blue and white bridal bouquet. She wears cloth heeled slipper shoes, undergarments, stockings and a blue and pink garter. Please review the photographs to see how nice the doll and her outfit are.
Her Madame Alexander hang tag is still attached as well as the cloth Madame Alexander tag on her dress. Her Madame Alexander box is in very good condition with some shelf wear and slight paper loss. The box top is taped at a corner and the box has a couple small dents which in no way affects the doll.
This wonderful doll and her packing is very heavy and will ship in a large box. This Madame Alexander doll #1685 can be referenced in Madame Alexander Dolls 1965-1990 by Patricia Smith.
** PLEASE NOTE that parts of the veil are dark in the first photograph because of the background left during Ruby Lane’s processing. The dress is clean, white and in mint condition.
