This lovely 17” Madame Alexander bridesmaid doll is made out of hard plastic and fine vinyl, has blonde hair and working blue sleep eyes. Elise was made between 1982 and 1985 and comes in her original Madame Alexander box. It does not appear she has been handled much as she is in excellent condition.
She wears a beautiful pink tagged dress with a full tulle skirt and sequined lace top with puffed sleeves. She also wears a matching full brim bonnet, a pearl necklace, cloth heeled slipper shoes, undergarments and stockings. She carries a pretty nosegay. Please review the photographs to see how nice the doll and her outfit are. She has been in her box for a long time, so her hat brim is a little droopy in the front and you may want to freshen it.
Her Madame Alexander hang tag is attached with her information. There is a stain on the front of it which may be from a price sticker. Her Madame Alexander box is in good condition with some shelf wear and paper loss, including a 2-1/2” x 3/8” strip of paper loss on the top of the box. The box has some storage dents and bulges which in no way affects the doll.
The cute doll and her packing is very heavy and will ship in a large box. This Madame Alexander doll #1655 can be referenced in Madame Alexander 2008 Dolls Price Guide #33 by Linda Crowsey.
