A very rare and beautiful piece for any decor.
Fresh from a local North Carolina estate, this vintage mirror is stamped Jan 1925 on the back.
It is a wonderful piece of Black Americana featuring several African-American children along the upper top. The lower portion has a mirror, all set in a genuine wood frame with beautiful beadwork and a decorative beveled edge.
This mirror measures 26.5" long x 14.75" wide x 1" thick.
It is in excellent condition with age-related wear to the painted wood. The colored lithograph is in impeccable condition. The wood has paint loss and scattered nicks from storage and use over the years. Sweet imperfections that only add to its vintage charm.
More beautiful in person, this is a fine find for any Black Memorabilia or Black Americana collector.
I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality.” - Frida Kahlo
