Oh, my aching ears.
This charming pair of Victorian style sculptures features a boy playing the saxophone while the girl shields her ears.
Made in 1971, these white & cream-colored, resin busts were produced by Universal Statuary Corporation in Chicago by the artist, V. Kendrick.
The boy measures approx. 9.5" high x 5" wide. The curly-haired girl measures 9.75" high x 5" wide. Both have gothic style roses along their pedestal bases.
They are in excellent condition with light dust in their grooves from age. There is minor scattered wear, lending to their vintage character.
A whimsical pair to set the mood for your next daunting music lesson.
