This vintage, silverplate bracelet features 3 slim bangles connected by a jump ring and a dangling, studded cross. The cross has 24 clear rhinestones or cubic zirconia stones, but since we are unable to test for cubic zirconia, it is being sold as a silverplate and rhinestone bangle.
The cross measures just shy of 1" high and a little over 1/2" wide. It is 2 mm thick. Each stone measures almost 2 mm in size and they are sparkly and bright (despite the darkening in the pics). There are 24 stones, but the cross has tiny, silver ball studs between the rows of stones, so the light reflects producing a greater sparkle and the impression of more rhinestones.
Each bangle has a 2 5/8" inner wrist diameter. Together, they have a combined width of 1/4" but the overlapping design makes it look a bit wider.
Circa 1980s, this bangle is in excellent condition, with its original patina. It is an unmarked piece.
The silverplate can be polished if a shiny look is preferred; and this bracelet weighs 20.3 grams with the cross (so the weight includes the stones).
Just great arm candy with a wonderful gothic style.
