Small room or house sized mirror, 21" x 12.5". 2.75" depth. Mirror size is 14.5" by 10.5". Originally from a 19th century cottage style bureau(probably made for a child), it still shows the holes on the sides where it attached to the dresser frame. Painted with a primitive faux pine grain golden color, and embellished with green, red and black stripes. I believe it was darker at one time and someone took most of the darker shellac off(you can still dark areas towards the top of mirror frame) then re-applied a clear finish(looks like shellac). The back is also grain painted and has and old wire hanger. For it's age the piece is in good condition with some wear on the bottom of frame. I am not sure if the mirror section is original but is does show some typical aging, and has a few spots and a light scratch. It is well built and not at all light weight. From the central NY area.
