Manufactured around 1920 are these two jointed celluloid dolls. They are both marked (an X in a circle Japan.) The larger doll measures 10" long and is dressed in what I believe are his original cotton print dress and matching shorts. He has an indentation in his left cheek and back of his head - see photos. The second doll measures 8" tall and wears a hand-embroidered stockinette outfit. They are both stiff necks, jointed at the shoulders and hips.
