Perfect for your large doll's bookcase is this miniature 47-page Victorian scrapbook. Measuring just 6-1/2" x 8-7/8", the Lilliputian book displays more than 110 scraps, as many or more than some full size books of that era. It holds a tiny Reward of Merit card, 12 miniature sample calling cars, and several miniature trade cards as well as regular size cards. There are 23 different trade cards, (37 in all), as some companies are represented several times. New Year, Christmas, Easter and birthday cards are sprinkled throughout the book, as well as a Chicago World's Fair 1893 card, Lincoln's Inauguration card and "Naval Review" trade cards among many others. The faded turquoise colored scrapbook was originally a book called, "The speaker's Library" and is completely filled with scraps that are glued to brittle and chipped pages. The book is intact, but the binding is loose on most of the spine. Most of the cards are in good condition, though a few are worn with some soil. The scrapbook is quite unusual for its size and content, quite sophisticated for Dolly to have in her library or your ephemera collection. Thank you for visiting.
