This small 8" hard plastic Madame Alexander doll is a bent knee walker, has a brunette wig, sleep eyes and wears an aqua-blue cotton dress with polka dot pinafore, white cotton underclothes, black slippers, white spats or gaiters, and a pink ribbon in her hair. She is marked on the back, "Little Lady Doll, Madame Alexander" on tag in the clothing and was produced for only one year, 1960. She wears the cutest expression with what was called the "Maggie Mix-up" face, having a faint smile on her face. Few of the small dolls were given the "Maggie" face, and they are much in demand. The small dolls are so charming and take up very little space in a display cabinet. The Alexander Doll Co. spent a lot of time and care on the details of their dolls' attire. Some even had elaborate wardrobes that thrilled little girls - big girls, too! She's in great condition for being 50 years old. Thank you for stopping in.
