Presented is an all brass PYRENE Fire Extinguisher from the mid 1930's. Made in Newark, NJ by the Pyrene Manufacturing Company it is about 14" long with the pump handle closed and has a U.L. Laboratories approval. The classification rating is B2:O2 and has stamped on the label serial no. D-232227. Although there is a heavy patina from age and handling all the writing is very legible. Remember our motto, "Don't Mess With the Patina". There are a few very small dents, the worst of which shows well in the last photo attached and deter little from the overall ambiance of the piece.
The pump operates just fine and could no doubt be re-furbished and charged to display with a classic car, in a man cave or garage. Please call or e-mail us with any questions.
