This beautifully-made ring is marked P. Gia for the silversmith who made it, and also with Zuni. It was probably made in the 1970's, and it features a small round turquoise cabochon and two silver balls at its center, which is also decorated with silver wire. It also has fine petit point work around the outside, with 18 slim turquoise cabochons that are each set off with a silver ball. The lapidary work on this piece is meticulous, and it is in very good condition, with no damage or problems with any of its parts.
The center of this ring measures 1 3/8 inches tall by 7/8 of an inch at its widest point, and it narrows to 1/8 of an inch wide at the back. It is a ring size of almost 9, and it weighs a comfortable but sturdy 5 grams. This ring is unusual and striking, and the design and quality of this authentic Native American piece make it one that you can wear and enjoy for years to come.
