This hand-crafted bolo tie was made in a somewhat round, freeform shape and set with 14 turquoise cabochons of different shades with an oxidized surface behind them. It is not marked, but has tested as sterling, as have its new tips. This piece was made in the Navajo style, probably sometime in the 1980's, and it is decorated with silver balls to highlight the turquoise stones. It has a new black leather cord, and it is also in very good condition, with no damage or problems with any of its parts.
The centerpiece of this bolo measures 2 1/2 inches tall by about 2 3/8 inches across, and the leather tie is 36 inches long, not including the tips, which are each almost 2 1/4 inches long. This striking handmade piece would make a great addition to any bolo lover's collection, with its turquoise of different varieties, and it can be worn and enjoyed for years to come.
