This bolo tie is marked Wayne C. for Wayne Cheama, the Zuni silversmith who made it. It most likely dates to the 1970's, and this piece features eight cabochons of blue turquoise and four of red coral in a hand-stamped setting decorated with silver balls. This tie has a new black leather cord and sterling silver tips, and it is in very good condition, with no damage or problems with any of its parts.
The centerpiece of this authentic bolo measures 2 3/8 inches tall by 1 3/8 inches wide, and its cord is 36 inches long, not including the tips, which are each 2 1/4 inches long This well-made tie is a classic of its type which can be worn for many years to come, and many bolo lovers would be proud and happy to add it to their collection.
