This silver bolo tie has tested to be sterling, as have its hand-made tips, and it is marked B & N Nastacio for the Zuni husband and wife silversmiths who made it. It is decorated with three matching cabochons of blue turquoise and one of coral, silver balls and leaves, and its edges feature deep hand-stamping . This tie was probably made during the 1970's or 1980's, and it is in very good condition, with no damage or problems.
The centerpiece of this bolo measures 1 1/4 inches tall by 1 inch at its widest point, and the leather cord is 36 inches long, not including the tips, which are each 1 3/4 inches long. Given its measurements and its classic Native American design, this beautiful tie would be suitable for either a man or a woman to wear, and many a bolo lover would be pleased to add it to their collection.
