This well-made silver bolo tie carries the signature of Eva Etsate, a Zuni silversmith who was well-known for her beautiful inlay work, which usually features birds. Its center has an eagle that is inlaid in mother of pearl, turquoise, black onyx, and red jasper, which have all been carefully marked to mimic feathers, and it is in very good condition, with no damage or problems with any of its parts.
The centerpiece of this bolo measures 1 1/4 inches at its tallest point by 1 1/4 inches at its widest, and the leather tie is 36 inches long, not including the sterling silver tips, which are each just under 1 7/8 inches long. This high-quality tie would be treasured by a bolo lover of either sex, and many would be happy and proud to add it to their collection.
