This well-made Southwestern silver ring features a malachite stone set in the shadowbox style with handstamped decoration, and it's marked Sterling and EY for Elsie Yazzie, the Navajo silversmith who made it. It was probably made in the 1970's or 1980's, and it's in very good condition, with no damage or problems.
The center of this ring is 1 inch long by 5/8 of an inch wide, and it is a ring size of 9 1/2. Although the front of this ring is not large, it would fit many women on different fingers because of its size, and this makes it very versatile. This is a very good example of authentic Native American silverwork, and it looks very nice when worn.
