This vintage, "tourist-style" bracelet is marked Sterling and with a little kachina figure for the Maisel's shop that was started in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 1930's. This type of bracelet has become collectible recently, and this one is in very good condition, with no damage or problems and a patina from age. It is set with 3 cabochons of turquoise, and it is also sturdy, which is not always the case with this type of cuff.
This bracelet has an inside measurement of 5 1/2 inches, not including a gap of 1 1/8 inch, and its center is just under 1 inch wide, narrowing to 1/4 of an inch wide at the ends. This cuff weighs 19 grams, it is only slightly adjustable, and it's decorated with appliqued silver wire and hand-stamping from the center all the way to each end. This piece is an unusual example of its type, and it's one that you can wear and enjoy for a long time to come.
