This sterling silver bolo tie carries the antelope mark of Hopi silversmith Verden Mansfield, who started making jewelry in the middle 1970's. It was made using the overlay method, and has the fine chisel marks in the recessed areas that are a characteristic of jewelry made by members of this tribe. This tie is in very good condition, with a smooth finish, a new black leather cord with sterling tips, and with no damage or problems to any of its parts.

The centerpiece of this bolo measures 2 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches at its widest point, and the tie is 35 inches long, not including the tips, which are each just under 2 inches long. These measurements and its striking abstract design make this piece suitable to be worn by a man or a woman, and its high quality makes it a tie that any bolo lover would be glad to add to their collection.

I have a few Hopi bolo ties like this one in my shop, each made by a different silversmith, and you can see them all by selecting the Native American category.
