These silver earrings are marked Los Castillo 925 and with an eagle mark, and they were made with an abstract, pre-Columbian design by this well-known Taxco workshop. Each sturdy earring has a working screw back, and consists of a piece of silver decorated with incised lines and silver balls. This pair is in very good condition, with a dark patina from age and no damage or problems.
Each of these earrings is a bit over 1 inch tall, measures 1/2 of an inch at its widest point and weighs 6 1/2 grams, which makes them comfortable to wear. This pair is a collector's item that has already been around for 40 to 50 years, and you can wear and enjoy these earrings for many more years to come!
I also currently have in my shop the matching necklace and bracelet for this pair.
