This fun vintage (1940s) sterling heart charms features the Alamo. This heart is part of a western series that includes an oil well (listed below), a longhorn (listed above), a hat and gun, and a horse. This series was most likely made to celebrate Texas's one hundred years of statehood (1945). The heart charm measures 11/16ths of an inch by 9/16ths of an inch and is marked sterling. The back has been nicely engraved with the name "Jay". Condition is very good with light surface wear. This is guaranteed to be a period charm and is not a reproduction.
