Circa 1850 This antique gold ring features a superb old mine Colombian emerald framed by two rows of seed pearls. The emerald has a vivid bluish green color and excellent sparkle. The emerald is approximately 12.2 x 10 x 5.48 mm. Estimated weight is about 5 carats. The bezel measures 24 x 21 mm (15/16 x 13/16 in.) The 14K gold shank is of a later date.
