Antique Colombian Emerald Diamond Convertible Bracelet / Pendant Russian 1890s

Made in St. Petersburg in the 1890s. The emerald and diamond cluster is finely crafted in 14K gold and silver. It is centered with a stylized floral rosette which features an excellent 2.48 ct cabochon cut Colombian emerald of a glowing bluish green color. The emerald is surrounded by chunky old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are bright white and very clean (G-H color, VS1-VS2 clarity). Total emerald weight is 2.48 carats. Estimated combined diamond weight is 5.50 carats. The emerald and diamond cluster could be attached to the gold link bracelet or worn as a pendant. Marked on the clasps of the bracelet with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K), Saint Petersburg assay mark, and maker’s initials ‘OK’. The V-shape gold bail is a modern replacement. The length of the bracelet could be shortened if needed. Length of the gold link bracelet (without clasps) is 15 cm (5 7/8 in.) Diameter of the emerald and diamond cluster is 26 mm (1 in.)
