Colombian Emerald Diamond Antique Engagement Ring

This rare antique Russian ring was made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917. The ring is crafted in 14K gold and features an excellent 1.51 carat Colombian emerald of a deep bluish green color, framed by sparkling old mine cut diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity). The shoulders of the ring are embellished with a pair of diamond-set gold bows. The diamonds are set in silver over gold. The emerald and diamond cluster measures 16 x 12 mm (9/16 x 1/2 in.) Total emerald weight is 1.51 carats. Estimated combined diamond weight is 1.22 carats. Marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial Russian gold standard, Moscow assay mark, and maker’s initials ‘ЕШ’.
