A hand-crafted silver topped 14K gold brooch / pin is designed as a stylized flower embellished with a sparkling Colombian emerald, measuring 7 x 5.8 x 5.45 mm, approximately 1.53 ct., and numerous densely set old mine, antique cushion and old European cut diamonds.
Estimated total diamond weight 2.60 ct.
The brooch is marked on pin with maker’s initials ‘CM’ and 1899-1908 Russian gold assay mark. The frame is marked with a later Soviet control mark for 875 silver.
